Intel, the world champions in making computer processors introduced the Thunderbolt 2.0 standard earlier this year.
Thunderbolt 2.0 has theoretical speeds of up to 20 Gbit/s - which means it allows for the playback of 4K video content whilst transferring files simultaneously.
Now Asus steps forward to unveil the world's first Thunderbolt 2.0 motherboard - the Z87-Deluxe Quad.
By just looking at the motherboard, one can gauge its robustness and extreme performance. The motherboard beside having two Thunderbolt 2.0 connectors, also houses six USB 3.0 ports and 4x USB 2.0. Also present are two Gigabit LAN interfaces, an HDMI output and ten SATA III connectors.
