Samsung Likely to Free Up Storage Space on Galaxy S4

The much hue and cry from Samsung customers and potential buyers of Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung seemed to be moving and may free up storage space on its 2013 flagship S4.

Although Samsung has not revealed how it it intends freeing up storage space, but a statement (via C|net) shows a flexible stance by Samsung:
We appreciate this issue being raised and we will improve our communications. Also, we are reviewing the possibility to secure more memory space through further software optimization.
Samsung is committed to listening to our customers and responding to their needs as part of our innovation process.

It may be recalled that the outrage started when the potential customers found that the 16GB storage  actually means 8GB as the rest of the space is consumed by the phone's internal memory.

Unlike rivals such as the iPhone and HTC One, the Galaxy S4 has an expandable memory slot so you can cheaply slot in another 64GB of storage. But the S4 doesn't let you install apps to the SD card, just things like photos and music. With many high-end games pushing the 1GB mark, your phone's internal storage can fill up extremely quickly.
