Ever since
Google opted not to unveil the next iteration of Android at Google I/O held
this month, there has been quite uncertainty regarding the public release of Android
4.3. Rumors emerging after the Google’s I/O event indicated that the new
Android version would
expectedly release in the coming months, and now it seems like it’ll
release in July.
A known HTC
developer revealed on Twitter that the Android 4.3 update will be available for
the HTC One Nexus Edition - that was made official yesterday - a “few weeks after release.” Considering the
fact that the Pure Android version of HTC One will be launched in the U.S. on
June 26, the few weeks’ timeline drags the release of Android 4.3 to July, assuming
that the time frame offered by the developer is accurate.
At this point
however, Google has yet to confirm the existence of Android 4.3, let alone its
release date! The only proof of Android 4.3 we have is the huge pile of rumors.
We’ll keep you posted when we learn anything more regarding the matter.
