Recently there have been many records made of climbing the highest mountain of the world: Mt Everest. A group of mountaineers from many countries including Pakistan and Saudi Arabia also participated and Saima Baig of Pakistan became the first Pakistani women to scale the roof top of the world. Likewise a 25-years old Saudi woman Rehana Moharra also became the first woman from Saudi Arabia to stand on top of the world.
Commemorating the 60 years of the scaling of the Mt Everest, a 3D App of Mt Everest has been introduced to view different angles of the world's highest mountain from all possible angles.
Created by German company 3D RealityMaps, the map is based on high-resolution images from WorldView satellites, and details common routes, base camps and weather stations. Users navigate Everest via touch gestures.
