Samsung Galaxy S4 May Fall Short of Supply due to Overwhelming Demand

Just yesterday we informed our readers about an announcement by T-Mobile that their delivery schedule may be pushed forward from 24th to 29th April. But now it seems Samsung's 2013 flagship Galaxy S4 will face more supply problems due to its overwhelming demand.

A Samsung official has been quoted as saying: "We expect to fulfill inventory to meet demands in the coming weeks."

The issues have already affected two U.S. carriers. Sprint Nextel will still offer the phone via its Web site and telesales on April 27, but gave no word on when it would actually have the phone in stores. T-Mobile delayed its launch by five days to April 29, and likewise said it would be limited to online availability.

It may be recalled that traditionally it is the Apple that faces such supply-demand problems. But coming this problem from Samsung has taken many by surprise as Samsung has never encountered such problem before.

This in fact shows popularity of Galaxy S4 which due to its powerful eight-core processor and many upbeat features is the hotcake of smartphone market at present.
