Apple bags eight top satisfaction ranking

Contrary to the belief that Samsung's flag ship 2013 Galaxy S4 has taken a toll of Apple's iPhone 5, it seems that opposite is true as iPhone 5 continues to dominate rankings.

As per J.D. Power and Associates' smartphone customer satisfaction survey, published Thursday, Apple scored 855 out of a possible 1,000 points in the customer satisfaction survey, leading four closely-bunched rivals: Nokia (with 795), Samsung (793), Motorola (792) and HTC (790).

Apple's score was slightly higher than in last September's survey, while its margin of victory was almost identical.

It was the eighth consecutive poll from the California marketing research company that put Apple in the top smartphone spot. "From an overall brand perspective, Apple remains solid across the board," said Kirk Parsons, J .D. Power's senior director of telecommunications services.

However, Apple's popularity in USA is understandable - but given the world wide rankings  Apple's iPhone 5 may not stand out prominently as latest Geekbench 2 ran by Android Authority shows Galaxy S4 topping the Geekbench 2 with Apple ranking at the fifth slot.
